My experience.
I have more than 20 years in the housing industry. I am up to date on current market trends and conditions, current interest rates, today’s inventory, and rules and regulations that can affect both buyers and sellers. I pride myself on being a results-driven, hard-working professional. Recently, I helped a married couple in a 55-and-over community sell their home in 24 days, at their asking price (when others thought it could not be done). With my experience, I understood how to market their particular home by accentuating the home’s elegant and elaborate upgrades— and the unique community it was in— and was able to successfully overcome the challenges of a cooling market.
Let’s talk technology.
In today’s fast-paced, social media-driven world, a Real Estate Agent has to be able to quickly and meaningfully connect with diverse individuals, and has to showcase that interpersonal talent on social media. I am well-versed in social media, and routinely post and advertise my listings, walk-through videos, 3-D floor plans, and professional photography and drone footage, on my own Youtube Channel, Google business page, and Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn business accounts. I have been granted “Showcase Agent” status with Zillow, which allows me to get more exposure for those high-end listings. Ask me how that works!
My specialized knowledge.
I am a Certified Expert Listing Agent (CELA). My high quality learning never stops, and it gives me a professional advantage. I also learn from experience. For example, I have worked for land developers and several home builders, both standard build and luxury. I know what new construction options are out there, the sometimes lengthy and complicated process involved in buying a new home, and when it’s best for my clients to buy new… and when NOT to. It’s safe to say most other Real Estate Agents — nice as they often are— don’t have any where near my level of knowledge about the details of home construction (new or not)— such as block versus wood construction; R-value insulation; SEER value in an HVAC system; dovetail/tongue-in-groove versus butt joint drawer construction; the different grades of granite and tile flooring, and so on. And it’s not just about having the knowledge; it’s about how to use that information to my clients’ advantage.
My generalized knowledge.
My familiarity with the entire home buying/selling process ensures a smooth transaction for my clients. I have professional relationships with many reputable vendors my clients might need— from professional general contractors, handymen, pros who do furniture staging, to inspectors, appraisers, lenders, and more. I have personally vetted everyone on my vendor list. Over the years I have refined my knowledge about types of home loans, financing requirements, and how to correct issues with a home before it gets to the all-important home inspection. (Prevention is key to getting your contract to close!) I am a professional problem solver, and I am ready to work hard for you!
My personality.
My deep caring about people and homes has been a passion of mine since I was a pre-teen. That’s how I became the Real Estate Agent of Choice. What choice will you make? (I should warn you… my relationships with clients don’t stop after they sell or buy a home with me. They become lifelong friends... who send me referrals of their friends and family! Now that’s trust!)
